We are an encouraging and supportive community of adoptive and foster families as well as those who are considering or in the process of adopting or becoming licensed to foster. You can read more about Tapestry here.

A number of churches in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area have been stirred by God to serve adoptive and foster families. Listed below are the churches that are actively participating with and supporting the 2007 Tapestry Adoption & Foster Care Fall Conference:

The Conference is Free!
We are very excited that we're able to make this event free for everyone. That being said, we have a limited number of spots and anticipate they will fill up quickly. On top of some great seminars, we're providing the following:
- Light breakfast + lunch
- 6 training hours for foster and adoptive parents (you will receive a certificate at the end of the day)
- A booklet with all of the printouts and supplemental info from the entire conference.
Childcare for children ages 0 - 12 (must register ahead of time)
Due to a fantastic response we have reached our childcare capacity. While we cannot accept any more childcare reservations, adults are still welcome to register. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Conference Schedule
The conference is on Saturday, November 3rd from 9am to 3pm.
- 8:45am - Check-in and childcare opens
- 9am to 9:15am - Lite Breakfast
- 9:15am to 9:30am - Welcome and instructions
- 9:40am to 10:55am - Session #1
- 11:05am to 12:20pm - Session #2
- 12:25pm to 1:30pm - Lunch and Keynote Presentation by Dr. Karyn Purvis
- 1:40pm to 2:55pm - Session #3
- 3:10pm - All kids must be picked up from childcare
Location & Directions
When you arrive, you will see some white pillars on the building facing Regent Blvd. That is the east entrance, it’s where you’ll need to enter the building.
